We recently decided to try a new thing on the blog, short format text interviews. Our thought is we can get interesting and bite-size content that may not fit into the podcast proper, while also giving the listeners a more visual format.
LR: So, Bad Baby, can you introduce yourself?
BB: Hi! My name is Bad Baby and I’m a queer, kinky, submissive, trans guy in the conservative state of Oklahoma. I like drawing cartoons, rescuing cats, and coming up with fun ways to surprise people. I run the Sex Worker
Pizza Party on Twitter!
LR: How did you get started doing the Sex Worker Pizza Party? Can you tell us about what it is and how it works?
BB: I started the SW Pizza Party during one of the darkest periods of my life. I needed to do something good for other people, because I couldn’t even get up most mornings. I was inspired by someone else who gives pizza to trans people on Twitter daily. I received her blessing to do a similar pizza giveaway for a group of people I love dearly – sex workers. SW Pizza Party is a fun way for sex workers to interact with one another and win pizza money on Twitter. Anyone who is a SWer may participate in the pizza threads regardless of gender, content/type of SW. I post threads with fun topics and questions to answer, set a time limit, retweet the winners, and send them $20 for pizza! It’s a very pure, simple giveaway, and I try to do it 5-6 days a week when possible.

LR: How has the traction been on this project? I see your followers are growing every day.
BB: It’s growing quickly! Since starting this project last month, I’ve already surprised over 50 SWers with pizza lunch. More people are spreading the word and sponsoring pizzas themselves, which is great! My following has grown 15 times what it originally was last month. Sometimes it can be overwhelming just because I’m not used to so much interaction. But I love it! I love hearing from my followers, seeing their animal pictures, and talking with them about how their lives are going.
LR: What’s your favorite part about doing this?
BB:
It’s a tie up: I love seeing how happy and surprised people are when they win. I’ve had so many people tell me they were having a slow week and being gifted just $20 for pizza boosted their morale. I equally love seeing SWers start their own giveaways, or buy pizza for their fellow dancers at the strip club after being inspired by what I do!
LR: I love the joy your twitter page spreads. Also I wanted to ask briefly about your art, which you’ve been posting occasionally. What drew you to the medium you’re working in? Does doing SW pizza or being involved in the SW community inspire any of your work?
BB: Thanks! The whole reason I started drawing cartoons again was so that I could make comics for my Domme. She is a Pro-Domme and I love surprising her with gifts. It’s safe to say she is my muse and her inspiration is really what got me going. SW Pizza definitely inspires me to create more art, too. I like coming up with different cartoons of my own character “Bad Baby” to go along with pizza threads.
LR: The cat themed Sissy Kit piece you made was honestly impressive in the craftsmanship. Do you think you’ll do more multimedia work in the future?

The Sassy Kitty Kit
BB: Yes! I am working on a project right now where I’m creating at least two more “products” from my fake subscription box service “The Sassy Kitty Kit”. Again, the pieces I’m making will be used as a gift for my Domme, Ms. Hunter, but this gift will also be enjoyed by everyone. I’ll be working with a new medium and I can’t say any more because it’s top secret!
LR: What’s the assignment in the Sassy Kitty kit?
BB: The assignment is called “Assignment #69: School Sucks, Let’s Riot.” I got really high and wrote it off the top of my head in one go, using an old typewriter. It essentially tells cats how to use every single product in the SKK, all together, for a wild day of fun. It includes using the rubber chicken to create a diversion and skip class, using the catnip to get high, staging a mock revolutionary uprising, and more! The final line says to lock up what’s important to you in the book safe and have a friend you trust open it when the time is right. That’s exactly what I did in real life! In the real-life book safe, I put a donation to SWOP Behind Bars in Ms. Hunter’s honor, and I told her why I trusted her.
LR: Can you give us your radioactive spider bite?
BB: Even in elementary school, I loved the way it felt to give girls candy and let them boss me around. But I was 20 when I had my first real experience. The first time my girlfriend put on heels, told me to kiss her shoes, and beat me with rubber straps, it all made sense!
LR: Anything else you want us to know before wrapping up?
BB: Final words: If you hear someone stereotyping or saying something messed up about sex workers, speak up! Tip sex workers. Pay for your porn! Pizza rules: buy a sex worker lunch!
