This week, we sat down with Tamera Chatelle to discuss dental fetish, mouth/facial distortion, and human pig play!

Dental Fetish

We start off this episode by diving into Tamera’s Radioactive Spider Bite into kink, which revolves around the experience of transitioning from having a phobia of going to the dentist, to fetishizing dental experiences through having braces as a teenager. While the dentist was a major fear for Tamera, at the same time, she remembers fantasizing about being tied to a dentist’s chair while having dental work performed on her. 

A lot of this episode focuses on vulnerability in kink. For Tamera, her dental fetish was something she internalized a lot of shame and embarrassment around for a majority of her life. When she finally decided to open up about it to her partner, as well as adding it to her Fetlife page and joining dental kink-related Fetlife groups, she felt a lot of relief around owning it as a major part of herself. We also talk in general about how opening up about kinks we find embarrassing, especially when they’re some of the most important to us, can be an immensely empowering experience. Additionally, we discuss the vulnerability and submission that inherently comes along with opening your mouth to a stranger in such a clinical setting. 

In this episode, we cover many real-life dental experiences that we’ve found to be kinky. For Tamera and max, having braces felt like a form of permanent bondage, and they both found a lot of pleasure in wearing a retainer after having braces. 

Humiliation/Degradation and Pig Play

Dental play has a major overlap with humiliation/degradation for Tamera, so next we focus on that aspect of her kink life. We discuss things like facial distortion, as well as the voyeurism that comes with performing a dental scene as a bottom for an audience. 

Tamera’s humiliation/degradation kinks eventually led to pig play after her partner once pushed on her nose to see inside her nostrils. Immediately after this humiliation scene, she purchased nose hooks and asked her partner to use them on her, which eventually led her to start using a butt plug with a pig tail attached. 

We’ve gotten a few people’s takes on the difference between humiliation and degradation in the past, but when we asked Tamera, she gave us a fresh take on how she draws the line between the two. 

Finally, we answer listener questions about what it’s like to visit the dentist with a dental fetish, how to incorporate humiliation and degradation into dental scenes, and how to find suitable toys and tools for dental play.
