This week Gwen and Lexi are running the show without Dick so that Gwen can get more experience with interviewing guests. She starts by asking Rogue Kitty her Radioactive Spider Bite into Kink, and she explains that she discovered the kink community through reading the kinky comic Empowered. It contains a lot of bondage, damsels in distress, and humiliation. After reading this comic, she found Fetlife and went to her first dungeon.
Rogue Kitty’s Favorite Kinky Comics
She talks about Empowered and how it began as fetish porn, but the characters came to life for him and he was inspired to write more complete stories. She also loves Sunstone, which is a story about two lesbians who meet in a chatroom and begin a D/s relationship. She likes that this comic makes kink more accessible and has a realistic, humanizing relationship. It’s not as overdramatized as the types of BDSM relationships you often see in movies. Rogue Kitty also talks about her love for Harleen, a comic by the same artist who made Sunstone. This one is the mad love story of Harley Quinn falling for The Joker, and it showcases Harley’s descent into madness. She also likes the primal aspect of how Joker is a monster. The comic isn’t intentionally kinky, but it has a strong kinky vibe and includes a lot of sexy psychological manipulation. Lexi explains that a lot of her early porn was also comics, maga, and hentai.
Our conversation about why The Joker and Harley Quinn’s relationship is kinky leads us into talking about how hot it is when traditional dynamics are turned on their head. For example, with Harley Quinn and The Joker, The Joker holds the power in their relationship even though Harley is his therapist, the role that would traditionally have more power.
