Of all the toys I have reviewed for Terrible Toyshop, the Rigger’s Delight Nipple Stretcher is perhaps the most ambitious. This toy is a fresh take on something you may have seen before, most commonly known as the Tower of Pain. Upon first glance it appears to be some sort of crossbow, but when you attach nipple clamps its true form is revealed: a brutal nipple torture device.
The Rigger’s Delight Nipple Stretcher is quite light for its appearance, and comes shipped in two parts. It’s simple to assemble and includes the screw you need to fasten the parts together. The length of the post is 15.5 inches, a length I found satisfactory, as with my play and experimentation I have only gotten halfway up. The usable length also is affected by the size of the clamps you’re using and how you’re attaching them, so there’s lots of room for adjustment.
There are four holes on the top and bottom part of the chest brace that you can thread rope through in order to secure it to the body. These holes are 9/16” inches, and can fit up to ½ inch diameter rope. When I tried this toy with my friend, they used a standard hemp rope and found the holes to be more than sufficient. There are also six holes on either side of the arms (which looks more like a yoke) for you to attach nipple clamps to, and I suppose you could use these to experiment with more rope if you’d like. The dimensions and build of this toy leave a lot of room to find both a good fit and the most effective (see: painful) orientation.
Since the great majority of my nipple torture toys are household objects, I tested the Rigger’s Delight with the two sets of Nipple Traps that came along with it. We were also provided with cable keychains to attach the clamps to the stretcher. These keychain attachments ended up being the most annoying thing about my testing experience. They were fine when the toy was all set up and ready to go, but if you want to change out the clamps mid-scene it gets a little hairy. I would much prefer (and may end up switching these out for) some type of quick release carabiner, or something else that I don’t need both hands to operate.
I asked a rigger pal of mine to test this toy out with me, and I found it to be super evil and fun. They started by attaching the stretcher to my body with a simple chest harness. I had to hold the piece to my body as they went around so it stayed in place at first. After it was on, they used the extra rope to tie my hands behind my back. When the clamps are not connected to nipples, it can have the tendency to flop side to side instead of staying straight (though I suppose if you had more titty it would hold better). Regardless, once your nipples are strapped in, you’re good to go. The more toothy clamps like the Nipple Traps turned out to be a good call, because if they weren’t on tight, they pulled right off as we ratcheted up higher.
When it comes to pain, this toy delivers. It’s simple and extremely effective: just yank higher until you can’t take any more or the clamps fly off, whichever comes first. Or you can leave it stretched for a long period of time and ratchet the clamps off slowly. While bottoming for this toy, the clicking of the crank quickly became a strong fear trigger. There’s so much versatility with it and you don’t necessarily have to stretch to an insane level to have a good time. This toy is like a good Au Ju—sure, your steak tastes great right out the pan, but if you collect all those juices and make them into a tasty sauce to go on top, that’s some next level shit.
While this toy was designed to be used with rope, I found that it’s also relatively easy to use without it. You just need to hold it in place while attaching the clamps, then ratchet it up a few times so the tension keeps it from slipping. I have done this myself while slightly reclined on my bed and it works well, I just had to make sure the clamps were on tight so it wouldn’t fall off if I went too high.
Pros
-Easy to use ratchet system
-Quick release lever
-Can be used at different angles
-You can attach any clamps you want
-Hurts like a bitch!
Cons
-Doesn’t stay straight unless your nipples are attached (rope will keep it on your chest, but it might flop side to side if nipples are not attached)
-Keychain cables are a bit of a pain to work, especially if you’ve got lubed hands or are trying to change ‘em out mid-scene
I very much enjoyed playing with the Rigger’s Delight Nipple Stretcher and I’m glad to be adding a very evil and versatile toy to my kink arsenal. Though it’s probably a bit unwieldy for everyday play, I still see myself using this frequently as my appetite for nipple torture is robust and insatiable. I will probably end up swapping the cable keychains for some other kind of hardware that’s quicker and easier to use, but even with them I still think this is a great toy. The friend who tried it with me described it as a ridiculous medieval torture device, which I think is very fitting. If you are looking for a versatile new toy for the sadist in your life (especially if they love rope), then this toy will not disappoint.
