Sometime over a year ago, I obtained my first Vixen dildo.  At the time I had been following many sex bloggers and knew of the brand from many a gushing review.  I wanted one, but with the price tags being really out of my budget, I assumed my dildo dreams were dashed.  That was true until I fortuitously won a giveaway contest that was being held by Suz Eliz, the prize of which was one Vixen dildo of my choice!  After spending hours (more than I would care to admit) pouring over my options, I decided to go with the Buck, one of their VixSkin line.  I had never owned or even felt a dual density dildo before, but once I had it in my grubby paws, it changed everything I thought I knew about what dildos could be.

After all this time, the Buck is still one of my favorites and remains my go-to dildo.  Well, it was, until I got it’s sexier cousin, the VixSkin Ranger.  The Ranger is about 7″ long with an insertable length of just over 6″.  The width varies, the shaft being 1.75″ at it’s widest and about 2″ at the head.  This baby is made of dual-density VixSkin silicone, giving it a firm core and a soft squishy outside to better replicate a real dick.  The head I would have to say is my favorite part of the toy, as it has a very pronounced coronal ridge with wrinkles right below it.  Also, though the head is bigger then the shaft, it’s SUPER squishy, given that the firmer part of the core ends halfway through it.  I love how the combined soft silicone with pronounced head feels against my G-spot—soft but stern.  The ridge is also great for that popping sensation while penetrating the vaginal opening, a sensation I’m sometimes really into.

The texture details on this toy, combined with the density of the silicone, make for absolutely crave-worthy stimulation.  I like to use this toy for aggressive G-spot pounding, but I have also found myself enjoying just having it inside of me while using my current favorite clit stimulation, the Womanizer Starlet 2.  The balance of firm and squish feels so good to squeeze and clench onto, something I never did with the Buck.  I feel like this toy is so well crafted and balanced for my needs that it’s almost shocking that they didn’t consult me before they made it.  I also find the girth in general satisfying, even in these days where I am leaning towards wider dildos.  Everything about this toy I love; it’s hard to find anything critical to say except for it being not the most affordable, depending on your budget.  I suppose it’s limited color range could be a down side, as it only comes in black, but I’m usually not that picky about colors.  Also, the silicone is quite tacky and collects dust super easily, but it glides nicely inside of you, especially with good lube.

I think if you’ve never bought a Vixen dildo before, you like medium/large toys with good G-spot stimulation, and you’re looking to spend a bit more for a quality product, this would be a great one to start with.  I honestly can’t wait until I can use this as a strap on with one of my partners. And in the meantime, this bad boy is staying right next to my bed.
