Suction toys have always been something I was curious about; there is something really hot about the way swollen labia and puffy nipples look. I suppose it simulates the natural swelling process that happens during sexual arousal, just kicked up even more notches. But what makes it hotter for me is the way that some of these suction devices look: clinical and medical in nature. Which…as it turns out is a big kink of mine. Not long ago, a friend of mine gave me a pair of plunger twist nipple suction toys, which I promptly managed to ruin by trying to combine suction with cinnamon oil play. (A cautionary note, that oil will corrode acrylic! Be careful how you use it!) So when Blush said that they would send me the Temptasia pump for nipples and clit as well as the vulva cup attachment, I was super excited to get to try out this play for real. This time without immediately destroying the toys, preferably.

The set itself is really cool. The one I received has a handle pump and also includes a release valve for quick removal. The tube attached is silicone, and all of the cups are quick attach and release. Each cup has a tab that you can use to detach it from the pump, so it can be left on the skin, or you can release the pressure to remove it from your skin without having to attach it back to the hose. Setup is really easy to do, and design-wise it’s very well done and convenient to use, especially for the price.
A while after I received the Temptasia set, I was browsing an online showcase by Blush about their new products when I came across another pump set geared towards penises, and I couldn’t help but notice that the pumps displayed had an actual pressure gauge on them. I began asking about it, and the woman who has been facilitating my reviews from Blush was actually in the same meeting. Apparently she was taking notes, because a week later, a new pump arrived at my house! This one is the Performance Gauge Pump, which is sold on it’s own as a mix and match attachment for folks looking to build their own penis pumping kit. It even comes with a little silicone cock ring that you can attach while playing. I would definitely say that this pump is of higher quality than the one included with the Temptasia set. It’s made of a harder plastic, and has a brass gauge on the top, and the thing itself just feels heavier and more durable. The pumping strength is perhaps a bit stronger then the Temptasia pump, but it’s somewhat easier to control with the gauge, which makes it easy to see how much pressure you’re actually pulling. The price of the pump on it’s own is only a little more than the price of the Temptasia set, but it also then gives you the option to buy different attachments and set up your own pumping kit a-la-carte, rather than being locked into a specific set of attachments.

These toys have been a lot of fun to play with. The increase in sensation is already delicious when receiving pleasure and frankly doubly so (in my case anyway) when receiving pain. I am a huge slut for nipple pain and find that the pump makes my partners bites, pulls, and smacks increasingly more intense. I have found with the nipple attachments that it will only pull up to a certain amount of suction and not much more, so I personally would prefer a stronger device, if one does exist (🙏 please one exist 🙏). That being said, it should be noted that I have NIPPLES OF STEEL (it seems like that should be shouted in an appropriately-cheesy superhero voice), and so I’m sure that most other folks would likely find the level of suction on these quite satisfactory.

When I first got the vulva cup, I thought it was going to be too big to actually fit on my body, but once I added some water-based lube (I am not making the oil mistake twice) it stuck just fine. I have gotten it to the point where I filled the entire thing, and after I removed it my bits felt like a big old swollen mess. In a good way, if “big old swollen” doesn’t immediately sound appealing to you. I even tried to insert a speculum afterwards (as you do when you’re a kinky fuck), which was EXTREMELY HOT, and I am hoping that I can use both of these things in a medical scene very soon. The more I play with them, the more devious my ideas are (as I said, kinky fuck).

I wanted to mention here that if you want a good guide to using these pumps, I really recommend heading over to Betty Butch’s blog and reading the post they wrote about it.
I think both the Temptasia and Performance pumps are super cool, and what makes them cooler is the versatility of all the attachments. The prices are also really reasonable if you’re someone who has never done this kind of thing and want to give it a serious shot without dropping a ton of money on something you aren’t certain about. There’s a lot of control with the trigger system, so you can pump as mildly or aggressively as you want. Also, they just look super hot if you’re into medical/mad scientist kinks. All in all, I would definitely recommend them; just remember to keep the cinnamon oil off your toys!
