I haven’t worn too many strap-on harnesses in my time.  Back before I’d really realized I was kinky, I had a few that I bought with my partner at the time that were…not great, let’s say.  One was a double-ended jelly mess that was very uncomfortable, and the other was so very cheap and very forgettable that I can’t even remember what it looked like.  Last year, I finally ended up buying myself a new one that was relatively cheap and made of nylon and neoprene.  And, while it was a perfectly fine and serviceable harness, I keep finding myself really wanting something nicer.  Preferably something that doesn’t need a five minute song and dance just to put on…  This year, my dream finally came true with my acquisition of the Roadster Harness by Cherry Bombin’ Wear.

Anzela, the owner and creator of Cherry Bombin’ Wear, actually reached out to us via Instagram after she saw us on Kinkly’s Blogging Superheros list, and, being small business owners ourselves, we jumped at the opportunity to work with a small, artisanal creator of all things perverted.  That, and I was just excited to finally get to try a new harness!  The Roadster, like all of the products made by Cherry Bombin’ Wear, is made of recycled bike inner tubes.  These are rubber, but not latex, so you don’t have to worry if you have an allergy.  Being made out of such rubber immediately makes the Roadster superior to my previous harnesses in a couple of ways:  Firstly, it’s super easy to clean, which is excellent for me because I do use harnesses with several different partners, and secondly, the rubber has a bit of give to it, which helps with putting it on and having it fit snugly.

The Roadster has a lot of versatility/customizability.  The two leg straps can be adjusted, and they attach to the waist with a sturdy brass clip.  You can take one of these off and wear it thong style.  You can also take the rubber backing pad out if you want.  You can swap out the ring for a larger or smaller one.  All of this means that this little number is the “little black dress” of harnesses: good for any occasion.  My favorite part of this all is the clips, because that means I can set the length of the leg straps comfortably and then just un-clip them when I am done.  So much easier to use and quicker to get on and off than the last harness I had.  Plus, the dark matte finish just looks sexy…

I really love this damn thing, and though I haven’t yet gotten to use it as many times as I’d like, the few times I have were all great.  The ease of putting it on and the adjustability simply cannot be beat; the design is so simple but it works wonderfully.  Also, Anzela is a just super sweet person who really takes pride in her work.  The harness is priced at $85.99, and that’s honestly cheaper then I have seen many other handmade harnesses that, unlike this one, aren’t also recycled and vegan.  Plus, you can get a 10% discount on your purchase with the code OCPKINK.

My final verdict: I really like this harness.  I love how adjustable it is and how easy it is to clean.  It’s pretty comfortable, at least for my body, and all in all is reasonably priced for a handmade product.  I would recommend it to anyone looking for a solid harness that gets the job done.  Also, if you’re into rubber, it’s got a little bit of squeak, so you’ll like that too.
