A fresh new wave of affordable combination toys seems to be taking over the internet, of which the Clitoral Sucking Vibrator from Sohimi is just one example. I’ve seen many similar multi-function toys making the rounds on social media as of late, as well as the various industry-related groups I’m in. Generally speaking, I’m hesitant to trust toys that offer a ton of bells and whistles, as I’ve found they usually end up doing none of the things they purport to offer particularly well—better to use several different toys that excel at one thing than use a jack-of-all-trades. However, my curiosity was piqued by this vibe from Sohimi. I’ve seen some folks talking about this toy, and I had yet to try a rabbit style vibe that included suction, so I was excited to give this one a go. I’m happy to report that this vibe was a pleasant surprise for me and my bits!
The Clitoral Sucking Vibrator came to me in a luxe little box, nestled down securely within a precise foam cutout groove. My first impression of the vibe was positive for a few reasons. First, the color is lovely! I don’t know about you, but frankly, I’m tired of the typical pinks and purples that the majority of sex toys come in. Where’s the variety in a monochromatic toy box? This one, however, is a lovely green, looking almost royal with its rose gold trim. The silicone the toy is made of is also nice and silky, and feels great in my hands. It has a fair amount of give between the insertable and external portions, which bodes well for usability. There are three buttons on the back, one to control each function, all of which are labeled clearly with little pictograms. Before I actually received this toy, I had completely forgotten that, on top of providing both suction and vibration, the Suction Vibrator also has a little pulsation plate in the middle that is set to thump up against your G-spot, as well as a tiny, flappy tongue inside the suction hole (a sentence I naively never thought I would write). There was an awful lot going on, enough to seem extraneous—perhaps even daunting—but I had yet to experience a toy with this technology, so I was eager to try it out.

I finally found the time to give the toy a go, and because there are so many parts to it, I figured I’d break my thoughts down by section.
The Fit
Initially, I had concerns about the fit of this toy, as I do with most rabbit-style vibes. It’s difficult to make a rabbit vibe that truly fits every body, so I came in with tempered expectations. I was happy to find that, while inserted, the suction head nestles comfortably on top of my clit. That of course may differ depending on your anatomy, but there’s a bit of flexibility to the shaft where the vibrator and head connect, so it’s relatively easy to maneuver it into a comfortable position. The vibration end goes deep within my vagina and the pulsation plate hits generally around where my G-spot is located. Fit-wise, this toy works well for my anatomy. I was glad about this, as I have one friend who purchased this toy before me to review who had a lot of issues with the fit. She found that when it was inserted, the suction head couldn’t comfortably reach her clit. A lot of the other reviews I read of this toy didn’t have a problem with fit, but as all things dual stim, there is always a chance it might not suit your personal configuration. Luckily, this one only costs $29, so it’s not as expensive of a gamble as some others on the market.
The Suction
Pulsating suction toys have quickly become my favorite over the last few years. Something unique about this toy is that it has a little tongue on the inside that also flicks while pulsating. I had never tried one like this, so I was definitely curious about it. When I finally gave it a go, I found that the pulsation on this toy was super pleasurable. I only found myself using the first 2-3 settings, because the higher ones were just too much for me, as is the case with some toys like this. The pulsation and suction along with the tongue gave a really unique sensation that I honestly love. As far as the head on this toy goes, I am absolutely sold. It’s worth noting, however, that the opening on this toy is on the smaller side (at only .5” x .75”), as well as having a relatively shallow depth, so if you are someone with a larger clitoris or with a lot of hood, the fit might not be right for you.

The Pulsing Plate
I enjoyed this part of the toy, as I generally do with G-spot stimulation. The thumping of the plate combined with the suction from the head make an excellent combo, and I found myself cumming with it quickly and often. The one downside is that the torque on this part leaves a bit to be desired. I clench a LOT, especially when getting close, and I found that my clenching noticeably weakened the strength of the pulsation. It never came to a full stop, but if your Kegel game is strong, it might dampen the sensation a lot. I tried to relax my muscles and just lean into it, which worked for the most part, and once I got close enough to getting off it really didn’t matter. I’d say that overall it’s pleasurable and super cool, but it would be nicer if it had a bit more horsepower.
The Vibration
The motor on the vibrator part of this toy is nothing remarkable. It’s quite buzzy, and when considered on its own, totally unimpressive. But, when combined with the other two parts of this toy, it completes the sensation in a super satisfying way. It also has a few patterns, some of which are unusual and forgettable, but there were others I found to be quite pleasurable. While this motor is not particularly strong, in combination with the rest of the functions it completes a lovely trifecta of easy and effortless orgasms.

So to wrap up, my pros and cons:
Pros:
- Strong suction
- Novel pulsating plate
- Soft, silky silicone
- Waterproof
- Magnetic rechargeable
- Affordable (only $29)
Cons:
- Potential anatomical misalignment (not for me personally, but for some)
- Pulsation plate doesn’t stand up to pressure
- Buzzy vibration
Overall, I was very pleased with the Clitoral Sucking Vibrator and have definitely added this to my regular masturbation rotation. I like this toy for a lazy, no-work orgasm and have even craved its specific type of stimulation on occasion. I’d recommend it to someone who knows they enjoy pressure wave toys and wants an affordable toy with multi-functionality. It’s not the strongest toy I have ever used, but I find that in this case, even if some of the parts are weaker, they make up a beautiful and satisfying whole. Plus, at $29, this little beauty won’t put you out like some toys at 4x the price point. I’d call that a win.
