When I first saw the CalExotics Nipple Grips I was delighted. Nipple torture is one of my favorite types of play, and I’m always looking for new toys to broaden my sensation toolbox. Most of the nipple toys I have are clamp-style, and to be honest, I more often use clothespins and binder clips for that type of play. I was hoping that the Nipple Grips would be a more middle-of-the-road level of pain, since the majority of nipple toys I use are either very gentle or pain-to-eleven. After trying them out myself and with a friend, I’m here with the results!

The Nipple Grips came in a simple plastic package and I ripped them out post-haste. They are light and come with two jingly bells each—not my favorite accessory, but I don’t mind. The connecting chain is 15 inches, which is good if you want some space to yank on them. Each clamp has four adjustable screws that you can loosen and tighten independently to fine-tune the sensation. When I first tested the screws, a few were stuck in pretty tight and it took a bit of work to get them loose, but eventually I was able to.

When I first tried these clamps, I couldn’t get them to stay on—it was difficult to even get them on in the first place. In order to get one on, I had to tighten three of the screws most of the way before I could try to tighten the other. This is probably because my nipples are on the smaller side and do not protrude very far out—only about four or five centimeters. In order for these clamps to stay put, the nipples they were being used on would have to be at least 6-7 centimeters. Also, when all of the screws are tightened, there’s about a four centimeter gap in the center of the grip head. This means that in order for the clamps to have a strong hold on your nipples, the diameter of your nipple would need to be a few centimeters wider than the gap.

Luckily, I have a friend who is more well-endowed than I am who generously lent their tits to help me do further research. We did manage to get the grips to stay on their nipples, but it took a bit of finagling. As it turns out, having four individual adjusting points actually makes it more difficult to get them to stay put. When the grips were finally on, my friend said they didn’t hurt at all, even when they were as tight as we could get them. Additionally, we found that after a little bit of titty shaking (medium strength titty shaking, to be exact), the grip fell right off.

With all that said, here are my pros and cons:

Pros

-Unique design

-Lightweight

Cons:

-Doesn’t really hurt

-Hard to keep in place

-May not fit all nipples

-Difficult to adjust

I really wanted to like the CalExotics Nipple Grips, but unfortunately they just didn’t fit my body, nor were they easier to use on someone whose nipples did fit. The ends of the screws are round, which makes it a bit difficult to get a good grip, and they don’t tighten enough to be very painful or stay on tightly. I wouldn’t recommend these for anyone looking for really painful nipple toys, but you might enjoy them if you have nipples that are on the larger/longer side and you want something decorative. As far as my nipple torture toolbox is concerned, I will keep looking.
