Long time listeners of the podcast may know that, when it comes to nipple torture, I’m the champ.  I couldn’t tell you why, but apparently my nipples can just take a lot of abuse, and I absolutely love it.  So when I saw that Naughty Betty’s was looking for someone to review the Mag-Points nipple clamps, I immediately jumped at the opportunity.  I do however feel the need to preface this review with a disclaimer: since my nipples are for some reason superpowered (not sure exactly what radioactive creature bit me…), my pain tolerance, at least nipple-wise, is extremely high, so your mileage may vary.

Description: The Mag-Points in my hand for scale.

The concept of a clamp that is made of two magnets on either side of your nipple is something I have seen around for a while but had yet to try until now.  This one consists of two little bullet-shaped magnets with flat centers; in the advertising image, they look like they’re going straight through the nipple, almost like a piercing, but they are in fact flat on the inside.  I’m sorry to say that this product did not work for me at all.  I don’t know if it’s just my super nipples, but these things absolutely refuse to stay on.  I have been able to get them carefully stuck, but they do not go straight, staying instead at a sort of wide “V” shape, and when I move at all they just slide right off, pinching my skin uncomfortably in the process.  It’s funny, because the box says they have a “NO PINCH DESIGN,” but I really wonder who they actually tested these on?  Was it a real person?  And if so, how are their nipples shaped/sized?

Maybe these would work better for much more narrow, longer nipples?  Like, if your nipple is a long cylinder made of thin skin?  I did very briefly try them on my clitoris, just to see if there was any redeeming this product for me, and it sort of did stay put better but was more painful than I would like, and it ultimately just slipped off quickly anyway.  Needless to say, I will not be doing that again.

Description: The Mag-Points separated

When these do work, for a short period of time, it does have a rather pleasant tightness, not really pain per se, until it slips off and pinches me again.  The funny thing is, I actually do like the sensation of pinching in the right scenario, but the Mag-Points are so inconsistent that I can’t find any way to enjoy them.

I suppose these would be good for someone who liked annoying, tedious torture.  Say a scene where you had to put them back on over and over and over again, after every time you get spanked, because they will likely fall off every time.  If you’re a real sadist (cough JackTPK), then I am sure you could get some use out of these.  For me, I prefer a clamp that sticks on hard; I use regular old clothespins sometimes when I jerk off (pervertables!).  But there is still something to be said for good clamps when you are looking for something more painful.

That’s why, instead of buying these unfortunately-designed things, I will instead recommend some nipple toys that a broader spectrum of nipple shapes might get better use out of.

Check out the Tom of Finland Nipple Barrel Clamps, which are made of heavy duty metal and include removable four once weights that you can use to turn up the intensity. Alternatively, a standard pair of affordable clamps like these by CalExotics will get you a long way.

Pros:

  • If it works, it’s kinda nice.
  • Not that painful, at least for me.

Cons:

  • Will not stay put, magnets possibly not strong enough
  • Metal finish gets a tarnish easily
  • Will slip off of your body and pinch you constantly

It’s unfortunate that these didn’t work for me, as I was really looking forward to trying them.  I am, however, at least glad that my disappointment will help you, the reader, make an informed decision in your next purchase of nipple-torturing devices.

Thank you to Naughty Betty’s for sending me this product in exchange for an honest review (sorry it was a negative one in this case).  Luckily, they have a wide range of many other good products here!
