I love working with Blush Novelties, because sometimes I get emails that say “We have a toy with your name, so you need to try it.” And really, how can you say no to that? It’s not every day that “go fuck yourself” means trying out a new toy! That’s right, today I’m reviewing the Lexi vibrator, a sweet little G-spot vibe from their Lush line. I have never tried anything else from this line of products, so I was excited to give it a go.
The Lush Lexi is a modestly sized toy, with five inches of insertable length and a diameter of an inch. It’s made of soft silicone and is splash-proof for easy cleaning (just like me!). The Lexi’s one button has a rose gold finish that looks very chic and is pretty easy to operate. The silicone has a matte finish, which makes it a little bit draggy, so I recommend using a good amount of lube with this toy.

I have been spoiled lately with some very good G-spot vibrators, like the Pillow Talk Sassy and the Impressions N5 (a toy also made by Blush). I wasn’t sure how the Lexi was going to hold up to these other examples. First off, it’s immediately apparent that the vibration is nowhere near as strong. The highest setting on the Lexi is not even as strong as the first setting on the N5. I understand how in terms of size the Lexi probably simply can’t contain as much power as the N5, but the Sassy (which it is closer in to size) outshines them both. The lack of strong vibration is a real letdown for this vibe and was a big surprise, since I’ve had such good experiences with other Blush vibrators in the past.

In terms of its actual use, the Lexi is very comfortable, with a semi-flexible body and a slightly pronounced G-spot ridge. I like that the ridge isn’t extreme, because sometimes I just don’t want that kind of intense internal sensation. The thing I don’t like about the body, however, is how slim it is, but that’s just because I am a big fan of girth in general. I have managed to get off with this toy a few times (in conjunction with a strong clit simulator), but it always really left me wanting more.
And so, my pros and cons:
Pros:
- Soft, semi flexible silicone body
- G-spot ridge that is pronounced but not too intense
- Rechargeable and splash-proof
Cons:
- Vibration is not very strong
- Not very big (bad for me, but possibly good for folks who don’t want a big toy)
Overall, I really wanted to like the Lexi, but it failed to impress me (please, no self-reflection here). I would recommend one of the toys from Blush’s Impressions line instead if you wanted an internal vibe with real power and don’t mind spending an extra $20. I do however think that the Lexi would be good for people who are not into very powerful or imposing vibes. It might be a good choice for someone who has had pain with intercourse and is looking for something small and easy to practice with, which is part of why I won’t write this toy off completely. Just because it’s not my cup of tea doesn’t mean someone else won’t enjoy it.
Thank you to Blush Novelties for sending me this toy in exchange for an honest review!
